African American Fabrics: Quilt Layout Advise Needed

So, I got my Run for Freedom Collection quilt blocks (AVAILABLE at my shop) and  these commercially printed Harriet Tubman Freedom Trail fat quarter ready to go. But, could sure use some advise. I am very new at quilting and would like to know what others believe would be the best layout for these blocks.

Should I make smaller squares from the swatches?  What about contrasting fabrics? Would adding African fabrics support or take away from the theme? What about adding mini underground railroad blocks?  How can I use the bigger quote pieces in an interesting way? Do you have links for where I can see a finished quilt using this Block Party Studio fat  quarter? What would you do with these blocks?
