African American Fabrics: Simple Tunic in 21 Minutes

With one yard of fabric and 21 minutes, I am Steppin' Out with this cute tunic. The fabric is Steppin' Out Sistha II Available in my shop at Spoonflower.com.

Here how you can do it:

1. Fold Fabric in half length wise
2. Cut out neckline as you wish ( I chose round-neck)
3 Cut off strips from both sides on front and back ( remember the longer the strip the smaler the arm holes, the wider the strip the tighter the dress).
4. Cleanish sew the sides closed as shown (don't sew the armholes shut!!)
5. Zigzag stitch around the neckline and hem.
